Watch out for # 2, a 405-yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 17, a 186-yard par-3.
The course closed, March 2016.
On March 26, 2016, the golf course hosted a farewell tournament before officially closing its doors on March 28, 2016, the day after Easter Sunday. The owners filed for bankruptcy in October 2013, and despite attempts by the course professional to lease the golf course for continued use, Ridgewood Real Estate Partners opted to transform the land into a residential development.
From all accounts, the course was in great shape and financially was at break even or better. However, the value conversion for residential property was more alluring than break even, or even.
